1. Shiva Mandir

It is one of the most popular and sacred pilgrimages in the Pithorgarh district of Uttarakhand. The temple is located near a small village Sindoli and is believed to be visited by Lord Shiva himself many centuries ago during his journey through the Himalayas. A holy mela (fair) takes place here every year on the full moon night of Kartik Purnima to pay devotion to Shiva, the destroyer of evil forces. This fair attracts devotees from faraway places and contributes greatly to the local economy of Sindoli village.

2. Dhwaj Temple

It is located near Dhwaj Cross in Pithorgarh city, is considered as one of the most important pilgrimage sites in northern India.
